Ole Miss officially announces hiring of new offensive line coach
After this year’s spring game, Ole Miss parted ways with offensive line coach Randy Clements. He held the position for 1 year.
Now, the Rebels have found his replacement in former Gardner-Webb running game coordinator/OL coach Jake Thornton.
As you can see below, the Rebels officially announced Thornton’s hiring on Monday afternoon via Twitter:

Prior to his year at Gardner-Webb, Thornton spent 2 years coaching at FCS Tennessee Tech. Now, he heads to the SEC for the first time as an on-field coach.
In 2017, Thornton was a graduate assistant under Nick Saban on the Alabama Crimson Tide’s national championship winning squad. He worked with guys like Jonah Williams and Bradley Bozeman that year.
