The 2020 college football season has yet to be played, but that doesn’t mean NFL teams aren’t looking ahead to the 2021 NFL Draft already.

This week, Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox put together a Round 1 mock draft, and he had 13 SEC players projected to go in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, 6 Alabama players are projected to go, followed by 4 LSU players and 3 Georgia Bulldogs:

  • No. 4 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 5 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 11 — Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama — Denver Broncos
  • No. 12 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Chicago Bears
  • No. 13 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — New York Giants
  • No. 15 — Tyler Shelvin, DL, LSU — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 17 — Richard LeCounte III, S, Georgia — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 18 — Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 20 — JaCoby Stevens, S, LSU — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 22 — Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 23 — LaBryan Ray, DL, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 25 — Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 27 — Jamie Newman, QB, Georgia — New Orleans Saints

Interestingly, only 3 SEC programs are projected to have first-round picks. Will some guys from other SEC teams work their way into the Round 1 mix this season?
