The Manning Award, sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl, honored 8 college football quarterbacks as its “Stars of the Week” for performances around college football by quarterbacks last week, according to a press release issued on Monday.

Two of the 8 quarterbacks honored for their performances last week were SEC signal-callers in Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker and Mississippi State’s Will Rogers.

Hooker was 15-of-19 passing for 3 touchdowns and 225 yards in UT’s 62-24 win at Missouri. He also rushed for 80 more yards and another TD.

Rogers tallied 408 yards and three scores on 46-of-59 passing while leading the Bulldogs to a 26-22 win at No. 15 Texas A&M

Fans can vote for the award by visiting the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page. Voting closes on Thursday at noon (ET). The top vote-getter will be tabbed as the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.
