Day 3 of the NFL Combine belonged to the DL and LBs, and former SEC players certainly represented.

Ex-Georgia OLB Lorenzo Carter had a big day, running a blazing 4.5 at 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds. That’s machine-like. Carter also showed off his 36 inch vertical, too. He could be a terror off the edge in the NFL, and it’ll be interesting to see which round he’s drafted in.

Former Alabama DL Da’Ron Payne and former Florida DL Taven Bryan also turned heads. Payne ran a blazing 4.95 at 311 pounds, while Bryan drew comparisons to JJ Watt. Both Payne and Bryan project well at the next level.
