2023 NFL Mock Draft: NFL.com’s latest Round 1 projections include 12 SEC stars

The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off next month in Kansas City. There are several SEC players who will be in the mix to go in Round 1 on Thursday, April 27.
This week, NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter put together his 4-round mock draft, and he had 12 SEC players going in Round 1.
As you can see below, Georgia and Alabama led the way with 3 first-round selections each:
- No. 2 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Houston Texans
- No. 3 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Indianapolis Colts
- No. 4 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 6 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Detroit Lions
- No. 10 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 16 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Washington Commanders
- No. 17 — Nolan Smith, Edge, Georgia — Pittsburgh Steelers
- No. 19 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- No. 22 — Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee — Kansas City Chiefs
- No. 28 — Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 30 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
- No. 31 — Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina — Baltimore Ravens
