24 SEC players named to College Football News's 2019 All-American teams
With less than 50 days remaining until the 2019 college football season, many preseason All-American lists are starting to be revealed.
This week, it was College Football News that released its preseason All-American teams, and 24 SEC players made the cut.
As you can see below, there are 10 SEC players on the first team, six on the second team and eight on the third team:
First team

- Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia
- Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn
- Raekwon Davis, DL, Alabama
- Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
- Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
- Grant Delpit, DB, LSU
- Braden Mann, P, Texas A&M
Second team
- D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
- Jared Pinkney, TE, Vanderbilt
- Solomon Kindley, OL, Georgia
- Tre’vour Wallace-Simms, OL, Mizzou
- Javon Kinlaw, DL, South Carolina
- JR Reed, DB, Georgia
Third team
- Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
- Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
- Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama
- Nick Coe, DL, Auburn
- Rashard Lawrence, DL, LSU
- Cale Garrett, LB, Mizzou
- TJ Brunson, LB, South Carolina

All of these players seem poised for big years, so we’ll see how many of them end up on postseason All-American lists as well.
