Reported by multiple sources, 2021 Wayne County (Jesup, Georgia) linebacker Trevin Wallace decommitted from the Boston College Eagles on Sunday.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 209 pounds, Wallace is a four-star prospect, the No. 16 inside linebacker in the cycle and a top-30 player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Per Julie Boudwin of TigerDetails.com, the four-star is still considering Boston College, along with the Auburn Tigers, Kentucky Wildcats, LSU Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels.

The Florida Gators could enter the mix, as well, but have yet to extend an offer.

In their first year under head coach Jeff Hafley, Boston College’s upcoming class is ranked No. 40 in the country by the Composite, a 22-spot improvement over their 2020 class.

Wallace was the Eagles’ second-highest rated commit, trailing only four-star cornerback Clinton Burton, Jr., who flipped from the Gators on July 17.
