The AP Top 25 is out with a new poll ahead of Rivalry Week. Media members have weighed in on where the teams stand heading into the final week of the regular season before conference championship games.

The College Football Playoff selection committee’s rankings will decide the final 4 and the New Year’s Six bowl games. AP voters, though, remain part of college football’s larger conversation of where teams deserve to be ranked as the AP Top 25 is the poll of record for much of the season.

In Week 12, we had a consensus No. 1 in the major polls (CFP, AP, Coaches) as Georgia held the top spot. We’re on track for that to be the case in again in Week 13. Like the Coaches Poll, the AP Top 25 is sticking with the Dawgs on top.

The top 8 remains tight as the CFP contenders keep winning. Florida State, though, lost star QB Jordan Travis to injury for the remainder of the season. AP voters did a bit of shuffling, moving Ohio State ahead of Michigan and Washington ahead of FSU.
