No. 2 Alabama and No. 13 Texas A&M both look to go 2-0 on the young SEC slate as they meet in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. It’s set to be the “SEC on CBS” game of the week, a 3:30pm ET kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama had little trouble with Missouri in Columbia, beating the Tigers 38-19 at Faurot Field. Meanwhile, Texas A&M struggled with Vanderbilt in College Station, eventually hanging on for a 17-12 win to avoid a disastrous start to Year 3 of the Jimbo Fisher era in Aggieland.
After falling in 2012, the Tide have held a significant edge, winning the last 7 meetings.
On Tuesday, CBS Sports Network’s “Inside College Football” crew of Rick Neuheisel, Aaron Taylor, Brian Jones and Randy Cross picked who would win this particular matchup between the Crimson Tide and the Aggies. And all four analysts were on the same side:
- Rick Neuheisel: Alabama
- Aaron Taylor: Alabama
- Brian Jones: Alabama
- Randy Cross: Alabama
Host Adam Zucker also brought up SportsLine.com’s pick, which had the Tide winning 34-13.
