CBS Sports updates SEC bowl projections following Week 9 games

Heading into Week 10 of the college football season, there are some huge games on the schedule that will help separate the elite teams from the very good teams.

In the SEC, Alabama-LSU and Georgia-Kentucky are two of those matchups, and SEC East and West titles could be on the line.

Ahead of the important Week 10 action, CBS Sports expert Jerry Palm updated his bowl projections, and he has 10 SEC squads going bowling.

As you can see below, he has Alabama slotted into the College Football Playoff. Here’s where the other nine teams are projected to play this postseason:

Alabama

  • Cotton Bowl (CFP) vs. Michigan

Auburn

  • Texas Bowl vs. Iowa State

Florida

  • Citrus Bowl vs. Iowa

Georgia

  • Fiesta Bowl vs. UCF

Kentucky

  • Peach Bowl vs. Washington State

LSU

  • Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma

Mississippi State

  • Music City Bowl vs. Boston College

Missouri

  • TaxSlayer Bowl vs. Wisconsin

South Carolina

  • Liberty Bowl vs. Texas Tech

Texas A&M

  • Outback Bowl vs. Michigan State
