One college basketball game experienced an interesting delay Wednesday night when a food delivery driver made their way onto the court in the middle of play.

The game featured Loyola Chicago vs. Duquesne in the second half of action. With the two teams battling it out on one end of the court, someone delivering an Uber Eats order walked right out onto the corner of the court.

Play was halted to resolve the situation while the announcers did a fantastic job calling the situation throughout.

“From Uber Eats delivery or something? He’s carrying some McDonald’s,” one announcer began in trying to describe the delay. “I’m actually not kidding, I think that’s what’s happening.”

“Was he going to deliver the McDonald’s to someone on the court? Can we rule that out?,” the broadcast counterpart questioned.

“There he is! Who’s he delivering it to, the ref?”

“He said later, give it to me later. Not now!”

As far as unpredictable delays go in college basketball, this one might take the cake. Or in this case, the Big Mac!
