After College GameDay visited Louisville for the Miami game Saturday, ESPN’s Chris Fowler announced on ABC during the Miami-Louisville broadcast that the pregame show will be returning to the ACC for the Florida State-Miami game next Saturday in Week 4.

Yes, you read that right. Fowler said the show will be broadcasting from somewhere in Miami.

Miami confirmed it with a tweet on social media.

FSU lost its first game of the season against Georgia Tech, and head coach Mike Norvell has COVID-19; so, he won’t even be able to coach Saturday against the Hurricanes. Miami is in the middle of a great matchup against ranked Louisville Saturday night, too, so it’s not a given they exit victorious.

The premier pregame show passed on a ranked-vs-ranked game in the SEC in Kentucky at Auburn. Army and Cincinnati are also scheduled to play Saturday, which is also a ranked-vs-ranked matchup. Let’s face it — many games will be more entertaining than FSU-Miami.

It’s quite surprising that Miami would be the College GameDay destination for Week 4, but nothing about 2020 has made too much sense yet anyway.
