Most consider Alabama wideout Amari Cooper to be the best receiver in the nation, and did plenty to back up that claim in Saturday’s Iron Bowl victory over Auburn.

Cooper posted an incredible 224 yards and three touchdowns in the Tide’s win, marking the third year in a row he’s gone for a least 100 yards in the historic rivalry game. No other player in series history has ever posted three straight 100 yard performances in the Iron Bowl.

Here are some other streaks from around the SEC that were extended or ended this weekend:

Alabama: The Crimson Tide won its 16th straight home game with Saturday’s win over Auburn, extending the nation’s longest active home winning streak, which dates back to the 2012 season. Alabama also scored in its 181st straight game, extending a school record scoring streak, and it scored in the first half of its 101st straight game.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks fell to Missouri on Friday afternoon, and in the process saw many of their impressive defensive streaks snapped by the Tigers. Mizzou’s second-quarter field goal marked the first points Arkansas had allowed in 148 minutes and 58 seconds of game time, and the Tigers first fourth-quarter touchdown marked the first touchdown allowed by the Hogs in 180 minutes and 40 seconds of game time. The Razorbacks did hold Missouri scoreless in the first quarter, marking the ninth straight game in which the Hogs have held their opponent scoreless in the opening quarter. Arkansas also scored on its opening drive for a sixth straight game when Jonathan Williams caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Allen.

Auburn: Despite falling short against Alabama, the Tigers scored at least 30 points in a second consecutive Iron Bowl, marking the first time in school history they’ve achieved that feat.

Florida: The Gators lost their season finale against Florida State for the second year in a row, and FSU extended the nation’s best winning streak to 28 games and counting with the victory.

Georgia: The Dawgs snapped a five-game winning streak with Saturday’s overtime loss to Georgia Tech, which also marked the second straight overtime contest in the rivalry between the Bulldogs and the Yellow Jackets. Freshman tailback Nick Chubb also rushed for 100 yards for a seventh straight game. Georgia was unable to win the SEC East this season, but it will compete in a bowl game for an 18th consecutive season.

Kentucky: The Wildcats lost to Louisville in the Governor’s Cup for a fourth straight year, and it lost its 22nd straight true road game dating back to Week 1 of the 2010 season.

LSU: The Tigers victory over Texas A&M on Thursday night clinched their 15th straight eight-win season, which marks the longest active streak in the nation and the longest such streak in school history.

Mississippi: The Rebels streak of 34 straight games with a takeaway was snapped in Saturday’s win over Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. The streak, which dated back to the 2012 season, was the longest in the nation before it was snapped in Week 14.

Mississippi State: Quarterback Dak Prescott accounted for a touchdown in his 14th straight game, middle linebacker Benardrick McKinney recorded a tackle in his 38th straight game and defensive end Preston Smith recorded a tackle for loss in his 11th straight game to close the regular season.

Missouri: Senior defensive end Markus Golden recorded multiple tackles for loss for a third straight game in Friday’s win over Arkansas.

South Carolina: The Gamecocks’ five-year winning streak against Clemson came to an end with Saturday’s loss in the Palmetto Bowl, as did their 18-game winning streak against non-conference opponents.

Tennessee: The Vols’ win at Vanderbilt marked their second straight road win in the SEC, which is something they’d hadn’t accomplished since the 2006 season.

Texas A&M: Junior defensive back Sam Moeller served as Aggies’ 12th man for a 25th straight game dating back to Week 1 of the 2013 season. He’s started every game for A&M the last two seasons, and served as the 12th man in each of those games. Texas A&M will head to a bowl game this winter and will have a chance to win a bowl game for a fourth consecutive season for the first time in school history.

Vanderbilt: The Commodores’ two-game winning streak against Tennessee was snapped in Saturday’s loss in Nashville. The Dores did hold UT to fewer than 100 yards through the air for the second year in a row, limiting the Vols to just 92 yards passing on Saturday.
