Dan Mullen has updated his new top 25 rankings after a wild week 6. The ESPN college football analyst has an interesting set of teams for his top 25 rankings, including one exclusion. He has 5 SEC teams in his top 25 with only 1 being in the top 10.

Mullen has the Georgia Bulldogs (6-0) ranked No. 2, just behind the Michigan Wolverines (6-0) at No. 1. Georgia is coming off its most decisive win of the season by defeating Kentucky at home 51-13.

Alabama (5-1) is listed at No. 12 on Mullen’s top 25. The Tide are coming off a big 26-20 win on the road versus Texas A&M. The Tide outscored the Aggies 16-3 in the second half after going into halftime with a 17-10 deficit at halftime.

Following behind Alabama at No. 15 is Ole Miss (5-1). The Rebels survived a comeback push at home from Arkansas with a 27-20. One spot behind Ole Miss is LSU (4-2) at No. 16. The Tigers completed a big comeback on the road to take down the Missouri Tigers 49-39.

The last team to be featured in Mullen’s top 25 is Kentucky (5-1) at No. 23, which suffered its first loss of the season to Georgia.

One team left out of Mullen’s top 25 rankings is Tennessee (4-1), who were on bye week for Week 6. The Volunteers are on a two-game winning streak after their 29-16 road loss to Florida.
