If there’s ever a game that doesn’t need a hype video, it’s the Iron Bowl, but it’s always welcome to add some spice on an age-old rivalry as divided families get together for Thanksgiving.

With a mix of highlights from past Iron Bowls, and earlier games this year, Flash Highlights delivered its weekly hype video featuring Alabama and Auburn.

Alabama is in a position to impress national observers with a win on The Plains. The Crimson Tide also needs help. Even if the No. 5 Crimson Tide ends the regular season with a win at No. 16 Auburn in Saturday’s game, there most likely needs an upset somewhere around the country to pave the way for Alabama to make the College Football Playoff.

Alabama is the only team to make the first five playoffs in college football. But the Crimson Tide has gotten help before, like in 2011 when they went on to win the national title in an LSU rematch, after they got help from an Iowa State upset of No. 2 Oklahoma State.

From an Auburn perspective, coach Gus Malzahn is once again seemingly coaching for his job as a loss on Saturday would cause some to expect a major move to be made either by him or the university.

Malzahn is 2-4 against Alabama, but coming shortly after another Georgia loss, if Auburn loses here, he would drop to 6-15 against Alabama, Georgia and LSU.

Here’s the hype video from Flash Highlights:
