ESPN projected the top 12 for the College Football Playoff after Week 10. Some looks the same from last week’s edition, while there have been some changes with some of the outcomes of Saturday’s contests.

The Oregon Ducks continue to hold strong at the top spot as one of college football’s only remaining undefeated teams with an overall record of 9-0. Oregon most recently knocked off the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines, 38-17 on the road.

Ohio State, Georgia, Miami and Texas — in that order — make up the rest of the top five. The Buckeyes come off of a 20-13 victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions in Happy Valley, improving to 7-1 overall. But with the loss Oregon earlier in the season, based on the way things are going so far, it is hard to see an avenue in which the Ohio State jumps the Ducks before the Big Ten Championship Game looking at both teams’ remaining regular-season schedules.

Here’s a complete look at the rankings:

  1. Oregon
  2. Ohio State
  3. Georgia
  4. Miami
  5. Texas
  6. BYU
  7. Penn State
  8. Tennessee
  9. Boise State
  10. Notre Dame
  11. Indiana
  12. Alabama

It will be interesting to watch how these rankings change and progress with multiple teams making their final push to make it into the CFP race as we head into the home stretch of the 2024 season.
