We’re back to an almost full slate of SEC football in Week 10. Thirteen conference teams will be featured in 7 games. Ole Miss is playing out-of-conference opponent Liberty while Vanderbilt has a bye week. The other 12 SEC teams take on conference opponents.

The ranked-vs-ranked showdown of Auburn at Texas A&M headlines the Week 10 SEC slate. The Tigers and Aggies, fighting to remain in the hunt for the SEC West title, get the “SEC on CBS” showcase treatment with the 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff in College Station. ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) predicts the outcome of that game, as well as the other 6 games.

Here are the FPI’s predictions:

  • Georgia (98.6 percent chance to win) vs. Missouri
  • Ole Miss (81.5 percent) vs. Liberty
  • Texas A&M (62.3 percent) vs. Auburn
  • Arkansas (59.4 percent) vs. Mississippi State
  • Alabama (94.4 percent) vs. LSU
  • Tennessee (51.2 percent) at Kentucky
  • Florida (85 percent) at South Carolina

Here’s how ESPN defines the FPI:

FPI is a predictive rating system designed to measure team strength and project performance going forward. The ultimate goal of FPI is not to rank teams 1 through 128; rather, it is to correctly predict games and season outcomes. If Vegas ever published the power rankings it uses to set its lines, they would likely look quite a lot like FPI.
