ESPN is out with its SP+ projections for Week 7, and it’s picked every game in the SEC.

Most of the games are expected to be close if Bill Connelly’s computer model is accurate. In fact, 5 of the 7 SEC games this week will be within a touchdown, and several much closer. While much of this week’s attention will be on Alabama and Tennessee in Knoxville, with attention from the “SEC on CBS,” “SEC Nation” and ESPN’s “College GameDay,” the Kentucky-Mississippi State game will be intriguing for a couple of reasons. Can Kentucky bounce back from 2 straight losses after the hot start? And will Mississippi State continue to be a dark horse contender in the SEC West?

  • Alabama 33, Tennessee 28
  • Kentucky 26.2, Mississippi State 25.7
  • Ole Miss 35, Auburn 18
  • Arkansas 31, BYU 30
  • Georgia 49, Vanderbilt 10
  • LSU 28, Florida 27

Connelly’s computer model is an “opponent- and tempo-adjusted look at the most sustainable and predictive aspects of college football. It is intended to be predictive and forward-facing.”
