As spring practices are winding down around college football, we’re getting our first look at how some top teams are going to shape up this fall.

Now that we’ve seen most spring games, ESPN’s Mark Schlabach took a look back at his way-too-early 2022 top 25 rankings and made some changes.

As you can see below, as things stand now, 7 SEC teams crack his top 25, led by Alabama at No. 1:

  • No. 1 — Alabama
  • No. 3 — Georgia
  • No. 5 — Texas A&M
  • No. 20 — Arkansas
  • No. 21 — Ole Miss
  • No. 22 — Kentucky
  • No. 24 — Tennessee

Will these teams be included in the preseason AP Poll? We’ll see how things continue to progress as the offseason begins again.
