Greg Knox, former Florida/SEC assistant, lands position at MAC program

Greg Knox was a big part of Dan Mullen’s coaching staff, both at Florida since 2018 and from 2009 to 2017 at Mississippi State before that.
He took over as the Bulldogs’ interim coach after Mullen left for Florida. He also served as the Gators’ interim head coach this season after Mullen was fired. He also has experience as an assistant at Auburn and Ole Miss.
Now, according to a report from Yahoo’s Pete Thamel, Knox is on the move once again. Per Thamel’s tweet below, Knox is going to be the RB and assistant special teams coach at Buffalo:

Knox will reunite with Mo Linguist, who took over as Buffalo’s coach prior to the 2021 campaign.
Knox has an overall coaching record of 2-1 after his interim stints at Mississippi State and Florida.
