The winner of Saturday’s Texas A&M-Mississippi State showdown will likely claim the upset. The Aggies are ranked No. 17 while the Bulldogs are unranked, but MSU is actually the betting favorite.
As far as how the game is being bet, Patrick Everson of VegasInsider and FOX Sports spoke to Scott Shelton of The Mirage in Las Vegas, a BetMGM sportsbook. Out in Las Vegas, more bets are being placed on Texas A&M, but there is more money on Mississippi State thanks to a big bet on the Bulldogs. Nationally, MSU leads in both tickets and money.
Per @BetMGM NV’s @scottatmirage on TEXAM-MISSST: Mississippi State -3 to -4.
“Actually a few more tickets on Texas A&M.” But a low-6-figure play on Mississippi State, so money is skewed.
For @BetMGM nationally, per @johnewing, 56% of tickets/69% of money on Mississippi State.
