Kansas Jayhawks fans have been beaten down a lot over the past decade, but the David Beaty era has taken them to new depths of futility.

In the last three years, the Jayhawks were 3-33 under Beaty, and Year 4 of his tenure didn’t get off to a great start, as Kansas missed out on perhaps its best chance for a win in 2018.

That’s because the Jayhawks fell at home in overtime to FCS foe Nicholls, going down 26-23 to the Colonels.

After watching that terrible performance, many Jayhawk fans took to Twitter to call for their team to hire former LSU head coach Les Miles, who won a national title with the Tigers:

Miles hasn’t been able to find a job since getting fired during the 2016 season, but would he really want to come to the disaster that is the Kansas program?

After Saturday night’s performance, perhaps new AD Jeff Long should at least give Miles a call.
