Tis the season for mock drafts. Everyone and their dog has made their picks for the first round, but beyond former Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett going No. 1 overall, no two mock drafts are the same.

NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his latest first-round mock draft on Tuesday, listing 12 former SEC stars among the 32 players he thinks will be chosen on Thursday, April 27, in Philadelphia:

  • No. 1 — Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 4 — Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 6 — O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 9 — Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 10 — Jamal Adams, S, LSU — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 14 — Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 16 — Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 18 — Tre’Davious White, DB, LSU — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 19 — Cam Robinson, OL, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 24 — Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida — Oakland Raiders
  • No. 29 — Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 31 — Charles Harris, DE, Mizzou — Atlanta Falcons

Clearly, Jeremiah is not as high on Jamal Adams and Jonathan Allen as most scouts and analysts, as some sites have Allen and Adams joining Fournette and Garrett as top-five picks.

Obviously, with three weeks to go before the draft actually starts, there will be plenty of players moving up and down draft boards before Roger Goodell takes the stage to announce 2017’s No. 1 overall pick.

Still, it’s interesting to see where some of the best players the SEC has to offer stand in the grand scheme of things.
