The SEC announced its Players of the Week for Week 6 on Monday morning.

This week’s award was highlighted by Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral taking home Offensive Player of the Week honors. Corral completed 31-of-34 passes for 412 yards and six touchdown passes in a 54-21 win over Vanderbilt.

Georgia safety Richard LeCounte was named Defensive Player of the Week after he recorded 13 tackles and a fumble recovery in UGA’s win over Kentucky. LeCounte was hospitalized after he was involved in a motorcycle accident not long after the team returned from its win over the Wildcats.
