SEC Network analyst Chris Doering updates SEC rankings after Week 8

Coming out of Week 8, only two undefeated SEC teams remain — Alabama and Georgia.
However, the rest of the conference is up in the air, as the other 12 teams have not separated themselves from one another.
Following Saturday’s action, SEC Network analyst Chris Doering rated each of the 14 teams, putting Alabama at No. 1 and Georgia at No. 2.

Seeing Tennessee and Arkansas at the bottom of the rankings is somewhat surprising, but both coaches — Butch Jones and Bret Bielema — are on some of the hottest seats in the country right now.
It’ll take a lot to get off the hot seat, but the 3-14 spots in the SEC are still up in the air, so a lot could change before all is said and done this year.
