There were no nonconference games in the SEC last weekend, so our ongoing tally is currently on standby. However, plenty of nonconference games are still on SEC schedules, starting with Saturday.
Tennessee needs one more win to become bowl eligible and that should come this weekend against a struggling North Texas team that is 1-8 and has allowed 410 points while scoring only 158. At 4-5, Missouri still needs two wins and its nonconference foe is much tougher. The Tigers face a strong BYU team Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
For Texas A&M, its nonconference game with Western Carolina could give them the boost the Aggies need to finish their season on a positive note after losing three of four.
