SEC Shorts beautifully captures Vanderbilt, Arkansas upsets in wild Week 6 episode
SEC Shorts is back once again, taking the vibe around the SEC after a wild Week 6 of football. This week, there was no shortage of storylines with 3 top-10 teams from the league falling.
Mizzou’s “national fraud numbers are spiking,” says the college football ER staff while tending the Tigers. Meanwhile, the ER and the SEC Police detectives are thrown off by the shaking sound of Vanderbilt rising from the dead to shock Alabama.
It leads to a victory lap for the Commodores and a trip to the FBS basement where Vanderbilt makes the Wall of Fame, alongside Arkansas, for a marquee upset. That’s followed by Arkansas and Vanderbilt running into one another while carrying the goal posts around town.
“Upstaged by Vandy? Eh!” scoffs the Razorbacks as they continue with their own celebration.
Meanwhile, Hope gives Alabama a visit as the Crimson Tide climb into a coffin that once belonged to lowly Vanderbilt.
And back at the SEC Top 10 boardroom, Texas arrives from its bye week to find the office on fire. The Longhorns eventually lament having to carry the SEC as the current No. 1 team in the country.
The segment ends in a magical setting with Vandy watching late-night fireworks and unexpectedly receiving its long-awaited “W.” Check it out:
