Dating back more than 80 years, the SEC has a long and storied history. The conference has gone through several iterations, starting with schools like Sewanee, Tulane and Georgia Tech, eventually evolving to the two-division, 14-team roster we have now.

Today, SDS takes a look at the all-time winningest coaches in the conference’s history. Three of the SEC’s current head coaches sit in the top 10, but it could be a while before another one joins them. Les Miles currently sits 37 wins behind the first historic coach on the list, meaning he’d have to continue his winning ways at LSU for some time before catching up.
