Senior Bowl to be played at later date in 2022
The Senior Bowl is moving to February in 2022.
The leading postseason/pre-draft all-star game is moving to the first Saturday in February (Feb. 5) due to the change in the NFL’s schedule. NFL teams are playing a 17th regular-season game starting in 2021.
The Mobile, Alabama-based game shared the news on NFL schedule release night. The 2021 game was played on Jan. 30.
The new Senior Bowl date makes for a busy first week of February in the college football world with National Signing Day set for Feb. 2. The majority of college football recruits sign during December’s Early Signing Period but some opt to wait until NSD.
