Shakeup: ESPN's Football Power Index updates Top 25 after Week 7
Following Week 7 action, there’s sure to be a shakeup in all top 25s.
Starting the madness, South Carolina upset Georgia 20-17, as the Gamecocks thoroughly whipped the Bulldogs on the line of scrimmage. Georgia will fall in all of Sunday’s rankings, but how far? The Bulldogs will be fine if they win out, but there are certainly issues to fix.
LSU also beat Florida Saturday night 42-28 as most everyone expected. LSU and Alabama are on a collision course on November 9. Both teams could still get into the College Football Playoff.
Elsewhere, ranked teams Virginia, Iowa, Wake Forest and Memphis all lost.
