Either Auburn or Florida is going to earn a win over a top-1o opponent on Saturday. However, the other will suffer its first loss of the season.

It should be an exciting matchup when the No. 10 Gators host the No. 7 Tigers in one of the biggest SEC games so far this season. It’s the first of four games that Auburn has against top-10 opponents this season, as it will later take on No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Georgia and No. 5 LSU.

Saturday’s game between Auburn and Florida could realistically go either way. And neither has an advantage when it comes to past success against top teams.

According to The Paul Finebaum Show, Auburn and Florida are both 13-5 when playing teams ranked in the top 10 of the AP poll since 2004. The only school with a better record against those teams in that span is Alabama, which is 28-10.

The Tigers and Gators are both 5-0 and likely won’t fall too far in the rankings with a loss, as both have proved already that they’re worthy of their top spots in the poll.

Auburn and Florida are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
