Seven weeks into the season, S&P+ is starting to get a feel for most teams across the country.

The analytics system devised and updated by SB Nation writer Bill Connelly  measures a team’s efficiency and explosiveness while adjusting for opponents. It’s a solid predictor of how squads will perform, and Connelly on Thursday posted S&P+’s Week 8 picks against the spread.

While his SB Nation article includes every FBS game this week, we’ve pulled just the contests including SEC teams and listed them below. But if you’re curious about how S&P+ views matchups outside the conference like, say, No. 6 Michigan at No. 24 Michigan State, the original post is worth checking out.

Here’s how the Week 8 SEC schedule should play out, according to S&P+:

  • No. 1 Alabama 45, Tennessee 21
  • No. 5 LSU 26, No. 24 Mississippi State 24
  • No. 14 Kentucky 33, Vanderbilt 17
  • Auburn 31, Ole Miss 30
  • Arkansas 31, Tulsa 25
  • Missouri 34, Memphis 34 (Actual projection: Missouri 34.3, Memphis 33.9)
