Several true freshmen continue to make an impact this season around the SEC. Here’s a look at some of the biggest contributions from the past week:

Alabama: Wide receiver Calvin Ridley came up huge in the Crimson Tide’s narrow victory against Tennessee on Saturday. Ridley made some key catches as Alabama rallied in the fourth quarter and finished with 6 catches for 62 yards. Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick had 7 tackles and broke up a pass.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks freshman running back Rawleigh Williams had 4 carries for 18 yards to contribute in the four-overtime win over Auburn. However, Williams was carted off the field with a neck injury late in the third quarter.

Florida: The Gators had the weekend off.

Lock completed 14 of 34 passes for 108 yards with no touchdowns and he was sacked 4 times. Punter Corey Fatony had a great game, punting 9 times for an average of 47.7 yards with a long of 61, four longer than 50 yards and two inside the 20. He also rushed for 26 yards on a successful fake punt.

South Carolina: The Gamecocks had a bye week.

Tennessee: The Volunteers played eight true freshman at Alabama, including Jack Jones and Chance Hall, who got the starts on the offensive line, and linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr., who started on defense and had 7 tackles.
