If you missed the American Athletic Conference’s bout between Tulsa and Tulane, you missed an entertaining finish.
It was a snoozer at halftime with the teams knotted up at 0-0, but the second half got really interesting. Tulane led 14-0 going into the 4th quarter, and finally, No. 25 Tulsa came alive. The Golden Hurricane scored 21 points in the 4th quarter to send the game into overtime, but it’s “how” they did it that was incredible.
Tulane led 21-14 with 5 seconds left in the game, and Tulsa’s third string quarterback David Brin faced a 3rd and 7 from the 38-yard-line. Brin dropped back, maneuvered around the pocket and hit wide receiver JC Santana in the end zone for the tying touchdown.

The game went into double overtime before Tulsa linebacker Zaven Collins recorded a goal-line pick-6 for the win. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound linebacker can really move:
TULSA HOLY CRAP!

The Golden Hurricane beat the Green Wave 30-24.
No. 25 Tulsa is now 4-0 when trailing by 14 or more points this season. That’s remarkable in itself.
