Athlon Sports ranks the college football quarterbacks every year, and this year’s rankings included a wide array of SEC talent.

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young led the way, taking the top spot for Alabama. But, the SEC is a deep quarterback league, with 8 of the 14 starting quarterbacks ranking in the top 25 in the country.

At the other end of the spectrum, Mizzou and Vanderbilt’s quarterbacks failed to crack the top 100. Here’s a look at where each SEC quarterback ranks among the FBS starters for 2022:

  • No. 1 — Bryce Young, Alabama
  • No. 9 — Hendon Hooker, Tennessee
  • No. 10 — KJ Jefferson, Arkansas
