One of the top overall prospects from the state of Mississippi has just narrowed down his options as four-star lineman Zxavian Harris has updated his recruitment.

The Madison, Miss., native is focusing his recruitment on six programs, all of which hail from the Southeastern Conference. In-state schools Ole Miss and Mississippi State made the cut, along with Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee.

Listed at 6-foot-8, 335-pounds, the Germantown standout is ranked as the country’s No. 14 defensive tackle, a top 175 overall prospect and the No. 4 recruit from the state of Mississippi in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

During his two most recent seasons on the field for Germantown, Harris has racked up 110 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks and forced two fumbles.
