Jaheim Bell opens up about lack of targets: 'It's very frustrating'
Jaheim Bell didn’t record any statistics in South Carolina’s 23-10 loss to Mizzou on Saturday.
It was disappointing for the talented Gamecocks tight end, who OC Marcus Satterfield had said he would like to get more touches moving forward prior to the Mizzou loss.
On Tuesday, Bell spoke with reporters, saying it’s frustrating when the game plan that has been worked on all week isn’t implemented and targets don’t come his way:
Jaheim Bell up first for media availability today.
"It's very frustrating, going through the week knowing you're going to get the ball, and it doesn't happen. I try to let it go that Sunday, come in on Tuesday and be positive."

Bell only played 9 snaps against the Tigers, which he admitted he was surprised by:
Bell: It's not really a conversation about why I'm not out there. It's personnel packages.
Wasn't expecting to only get nine snaps vs. Missouri. Expected to have a big game.

Satterfield has come under fire recently for South Carolina’s struggles offensively. The Gamecocks travel to Vanderbilt on Saturday, so we’ll see if Satterfield can draw up some plays to target Bell. Getting him on the field for more than 9 plays would be a good start.
