Jake Bentley wins throwing competition at Manning Passing Academy

South Carolina fans are hoping QB Jake Bentley can take a big step forward this summer and be the star quarterback he was supposed to be when he came to Columbia.
On Saturday at the Manning Passing Academy, Bentley showed that he has been making some improvements.
As you can see below, Bentley won the Air-it-Out throwing competition at the MPA this year, beating out some other big-name quarterbacks in the process:

Naturally, this wasn’t exactly against live competition, so Bentley still has some work to do when the pads are on this fall.
However, this is a good sign for the rising senior, and should help with his confidence as Week 1 draws closer.
