South Carolina crushed Arkansas 48-22 on Saturday, but the loss didn’t prevent an act of sportsmanship to be displayed after the game.

Even though the score was lopsided, there didn’t seem to be any ill will, particularly between Will Muschamp and his former running back David Williams. After graduating from South Carolina last offseason, Williams took advantage of the NCAA’s graduate transfer rules to help the Razorbacks bolster the team’s running back depth following the retirement of Rawliegh Williams.

Earlier this week, Muschamp mentioned that he still wishes Williams was in Columbia. He backed up his words. The South Carolina head coach made sure to search out Williams when the game concluded, and the two shook hands as a sign of respect.
