South Carolina releases new contract details for assistant coaches

South Carolina has released new contract details for its assistant coaches, according to The Post and Courier.
This comes in the wake of head coach Shane Beamer’s extension and Lonnie Teasley being named the offensive line coach.
Here’s a breakdown of each assistant’s salary, courtesy of The Post and Courier:
- Defensive backs coach Torrian Gray – $650,000 2023; $675,000 2024; $700,000 2025
- Running backs coach Montario Hardesty – $400,000 per through 2024
- Special-teams coordinator Pete Lembo — $725,000 per through 2025
- Defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey – $475,000 per through 2024
- Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains — $1 million per through 2025
- Defensive ends/outside linebackers coach Sterling Lucas – $475,000 per through 2024
- Receivers coach Justin Stepp – $525,000 through 2023
- Offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley – $410,000 per through 2024
- Defensive coordinator Clayton White – $1.2 million per through 2025
- Tight ends coach Jody Wright – $400,000 through 2023
- Strength and conditioning coach Luke Day – $425,000 through 2023
Beamer’s salary ranks 9th amongst the 14 SEC head coaches, according to The Post and Courier. In his 2 seasons at the helm for South Carolina, the 45-year-old Beamer has amassed a 15-11 record.
No. 19 South Carolina finished the season with an 8-5 record after a 45-38 loss to No. 21 Notre Dame in the Gator Bowl on Dec. 30.
