Top SEC target chooses South Carolina
Four-star 2017 CB Jamyest Williams, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound Georgia native, has known for a while that he’d announce his college choice on Saturday, Aug. 27.
Williams chose South Carolina, long considered the favorite to land his services:

Williams had offers from most SEC schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
According to 247Sports, Williams is the No. 8 cornerback in the 2017 class and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
