Bobby Bowden has been honored in numerous ways since the start of the 2021 season, and that will continue throughout the year after the legendary Florida State coach died at the age of 91 in August. And another tribute is taking place Saturday.

Florida State is going on the road to face Wake Forest, which is doing its part to remember one of college football’s all-time greats. On Friday, the Demon Deacons revealed a mural they have added at Truist Field for this week’s matchup with the Seminoles:

It’s a classy touch by Wake Forest and another great way for Bowden to be honored and remembered.

The Demon Deacons saw a lot of Bowden over the years, as he was the Seminoles’ head coach from 1976-2009. He first led Florida State against Wake Forest in 1992, leading the Seminoles to 14 consecutive wins over the Demon Deacons, a run that spanned through 2005.

Bowden finished his Florida State career with a 15-4 record against Wake Forest.

Florida State has gotten off to a tough start in 2021, losing its first 2 games, but it will look to bounce back against Wake Forest on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
