Travis Hunter is not only vital to the Colorado offense but the defense as well. The former top prospect in the nation has collected 9 tackles and 1 INT on defense while adding 16 catches for 213 yards on offense.

Hunter suffered a lacerated liver against Colorado State and missed the Week 4 game as a result.

It was revealed on Saturday morning that two-way player will miss the Week 5 game against USC as well.

Hunter reportedly plans to play against the Arizona State Sun Devils in Week 6. Without Hunter, the Colorado offense struggled mightily in Week 5. The Buffaloes’ offense mustered just 199 total yards of offense against the Oregon Ducks.

The Buffaloes’ defense also struggled against the Ducks, allowing 522 yards of offense.

The Buffaloes will be looking to get back into the win column in Week 6 without arguably their best player. The 3-1 Buffaloes have a tough test against the No. 8 USC Trojans.
