Disorderly conduct charges against former Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk dismissed
Prior to the 2018 NFL Draft, former Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk was arrested at a golf event in Scottsdale, Arizona, with claims that he was drunk and disorderly and damaged property.
The Arizona Cardinals still saw fit to draft him in the second round, and will be counting on him to be a big part of their offense in 2018.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the charges against Kirk had been dismissed, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reporting the news:
#AZCardinals WR Christian Kirk had his charges of disorderly conduct and property damage dismissed recently by the Scottsdale City Court, per court records. AZ stood up for Kirk following the draft, and those who know him said the charges after a golf tournament were baseless. pic.twitter.com/5d62Ly6xLk

The Cardinals have had nothing but nice things to say about Kirk, and they knew about the arrest well before the draft occurred.
Now that the charges have been dismissed, Kirk is free to focus on his looming NFL career. He could be the team’s No. 2 option behind star WR Larry Fitzgerald this fall.
