Elijah Robinson is in a hectic situation in College Station.

The Aggies interim head coach takes over with just 2 games remaining in the regular season and Texas A&M fighting for a better bowl spot after a blowout win over Mississippi State last Saturday.

On Wednesday during the SEC’s final teleconference of the season, Robinson was asked what he has noticed about the vibe of the Aggies team following Jimbo Fisher’s firing.

Robinson has noticed that despite the circumstances, the team has been really energetic and is having a lot of fun at practice while still putting in work to improve.

Here’s what he had to say:

“One thing I’ve said about the team, these guys have been really energetic this week, a lot of juice and a lot of energy, having fun at practice,” Robinson said. “These guys have been practicing and playing for each other, man, I really love where they are right now and are truly embracing that brotherhood mindset, they’re pushing each other. I’m excited to watch them this weekend.”

Robinson’s first game as head coach of Texas A&M football comes against Abilene Christian before a matchup against LSU. The game is set to kick off at Noon.
