Fans, media note Orange Bowl victory adds to momentum for Texas A&M entering 2021
The Orange Bowl victory over North Carolina wasn’t the only big news for Texas A&M on Saturday and in recent days. The Aggies have also reeled in some high-profile recruits to bolster an already strong class.
Texas A&M bounced back from getting left out of the College Football Playoff to knock off the Tar Heel, 41-27, thanks to two late touchdowns by Devon Achane, including a 76-yarder, as he rushed overall 12 times for 140 yards.
At the podium presentation after the game, coach Jimbo Fisher made sure to add, “We ain’t done yet.”
Here’s a sample of some immediate reaction:
Great season for the #Aggies. They will finish in the top four. I’ve said it before and will do so again. Jimbo Fisher is worth every penny of that $75 million.

A top-5 finish, a NY6 bowl and a great recruiting class coming in. Things are trending upward in a big way for Jimbo Fisher. https://t.co/O7tXgGAaCq
