Gig 'em: Texas A&M basketball lands commitment from 4-star in-state 2021 guard
Texas A&M had a bit of a rough nonconference slate this year, but in SEC action, the Aggies soared past expectations.
In Buzz Williams’ first year at the helm of the program, the Aggies went 10-8 in SEC play to grab the No. 7 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament.
Now, that production is paying off on the recruiting trails. As you can see below, 4-star combo guard Manny Obaseki from Allen, Texas, announced on Tuesday night he was committing to the Aggies:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Obaseki is the No. 3 combo guard in the 2021 class and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
The Aggies now have 2 players in their 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
