Appalachian State taking down No. 6-ranked Texas A&M wasn’t something many saw coming in Week 2 of college football action.

After the loss in which head coach Jimbo Fisher has caught a lot of heat, several have questions about the stage of the Aggies program… including former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

“I’ve got 2 years of eligibility left, right?,” Manziel tweeted.

Texas A&M finished the game with just 186 yards of total offense — 97 passing yards and 89 rushing yards. Quarterback Haynes King, who missed time last year with an injury, completed 13-of-20 passes for 97 yards without a touchdown or an interception.

The Aggies will look to get back on the upswing as they face the No. 15-ranked Miami Hurricanes at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept.17 in College Station, Texas.
