The Texas A&M Aggies haven’t had much luck with the quarterback position this season.

After being named the starter, Nick Starkel went down with an injury in the season opener against UCLA, and now he’s not the only A&M quarterback dealing with an injury.

According to a report by TexAgs.com’s Billy Liucci, the Aggies will be without senior Jake Hubenak this weekend, too, due to a shoulder injury.

That’s a big blow for the Aggies as they prepare for Louisiana-Lafayette, as Hubenak was expected to share time with freshman Kellen Mond at the quarterback position.

Now, it’ll be all on Mond’s shoulders to carry the offensive load for A&M, only one week removed from a struggle to defeat Nicholls State.

If Mond doesn’t grow up in a hurry on Saturday, things could get even uglier for the Aggies’ offense.
