Shemar Stewart, 5-star 2022 DL from Florida, announces SEC commitment

Shemar Stewart, the No. 10 overall recruit in the 2022 class, was one of the top players remaining unsigned entering National Signing Day.
The 5-star defensive lineman had Georgia, Texas A&M and Miami as his finalists, and now he’s made his choice.
On Wednesday, Stewart announced he was signing with Texas A&M and joining the Aggies’ top-rated class.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Stewart is the No. 3 defensive lineman in the class of 2022 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
The Aggies now have 28 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 1 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
